Winner of several Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Film awards on the national and international film circuit, Chyna Robinson is a writer, director and producer. Her director work includes historical drama Greenwood: 13 Hours, thriller Lola Lisa, and most recently, romantic thriller No Ordinary Love. After received multiple accolades from Best Film to numerous Best Edit and Best Actor awards, No Ordinary Love will be released to Video on Demand platforms in June 2021.
Robinson is currently preparing to shoot a love story, and has started pre-production for a Sci-Fi Fantasy film she has written and will be directing. Featured at the 2020 American Black Film Festival, and recognized at SXSW as a “Female Filmmaker to Watch,” she is committed to telling compelling stories with women in key roles in front of, and behind, the camera. She has served as a member of the film and grant juries for Indie Memphis Film Festival and the Diversity in Cannes Short Film Showcase. Robinson is also a member of the female forward film group, Film Fatales in Las Angeles.
